Charlie is a 15 year old Thoroughbred bay gelding. He was once a therapeutic riding horse but wasn't happy; we think he was bored going in slow circles. Charlie arrived at the rescue angry & confused. It took time for him to just be a horse, then he became a companion to a blind horse named Trudy who lives in the same pasture.

- I have been a volunteer at the farm for over 7 months. It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling association/opportunity I have ever been affiliated with. My affection for the "Rescue" and it's residents (both 4-legged and 2 legged) far transcends anything I could have ever imagined....
